The "Blue Cloud,"Team Michigan's monicker, performed extremely well on all three days with standout performances in the mile, 200fly, 400IM and essentially all of the relays. To stay ahead of Auburn U the team needed to place no lower than 4th in the "B"/consolation final if Auburn was to win the 4x100 relay in the "A" final. Big Blue won the "B" final sealing their 5th overall which was the first time since the mid 90's where they have placed in the top 5!
Working with the Men's swim team of the U of Michigan was a great experience and one that I will always remember. The staff, including head coach Mike Bottom, assistant coach's Josh White and Mark Hill are in a class of their own regarding their professionalism and personalities. They truly have their team's best interest at heart and were a pleasure to get to know. Being pool side for such a great meet was truly awesome and I hope to be there again in the years to come!
